John has a lifetime of experience in retail Kitchens. 15 years as MD of Manhattan Furniture, the UK’s foremost supplier into UK blue chip builders has formed his ideology and design concepts. He describes himself as ‘nerdy’ about kitchens
He says… “It’s about lifestyles and people… and working with a team that understands that. Our job is to take peoples’ ideas and dreams and turn them into something quite wonderful.”
Ian was Brooklyn’s first recruit in March 2016. He says he is by nature quite introverted but his colleagues would probably take a different view!
He says… “I joined Brooklyn because they are genuinely different and their approach to the whole concept of designing and installing kitchens is driven by the customer… There is a freedom of expression here which I thoroughly enjoy.”
Ian admits to being a technical ‘Geek’ and has a massive array of design skills.
Amanda joined the Brooklyn team in August 2016, bringing with her some 15 years experience of the kitchen industry
Amanda states
“I have always been a ‘people person’ and have a genuine interest in engaging with people. It is extremely rewarding to be involved with the customers throughout their journey and to see their dream kitchen becoming a reality. It is a small but extremely supportive, creative and inspirational team at Brooklyn and I really look forward to coming to work!”
Paul describes himself as ‘head of R and D’… In reality he is our Operations guy… from survey to sign off he is the man. 25 years experience in kitchen installation and project management has left its mark.
Paul admits he is a stickler for detail and whatever he does… it HAS to be right. His attitudes and values are reflected in his fitting teams.
