Giving a little back…

Giving A Little Back

Here at Brooklyn Kitchens we are acutely aware that we are also a part of the wider community.  In these difficult times, local people work hard to provide for those less fortunate and to promote services and opportunities within the community.

Our mission statement contains a pledge to return some of our profits back into communities.

We are delighted to announce that so far this year we have contributed to the following…

Benarty Community Shop   A new venture in Central Fife. The community refurbished a previously closed shop in a shopping precinct. Brooklyn Kitchens along with our operations partner Trinity Installations supplied a brand new kitchen for the premises as well as a serving counter. The management team were immensely grateful and this helped them provide a first-class platform for their venture. The shop officially opened 18th June 2017

RAF 1756 Air cadets- Broxburn   When we heard the Air Cadets were refurbing their premises we were delighted to help (again with Trinity Installations) in the form of new kitchen facilities.  Our Operations partner Trinity Installations have close connections here with Paul being a former cadet in Portobello. He loved his time there and understood the benefits that local youngsters benefit from it.

Kids Come First- Ballingry   Every working day around 50 kids under school age are looked after by this charity allowing their parents to go to work. The staff were looking for sponsors to allow them to purchase high viz vests for the children. Brooklyn were happy to oblige.

So far this year we have contributed more than £8000 in materials and time back into communities…Its our philosophy to help wherever and whenever we can…
